Assembly Capabilities
Design
Building on our expertise with non-rechargeable and rechargeable battery packs, utilizing multiple chemistries, we continue to expand our design capabilities to include the latest battery technologies. From prototypes – to final product – through volume manufacturing, we utilize a defined design release methodology and best manufacturing practices.
CAD DRAWINGS
Our engineering team uses CAD to create layout drawings that show the physical and electrical arrangement of the cells and components. It helps provide a clear and concise way to visualize battery designs and create documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance. CAD Drawings are a crucial part of the battery development and manufacturing processes.
POTTING
The potting process for batteries involves encapsulating them in a protective compound to enhance their durability. It also provides a multitude of benefits, significantly enhancing their longevity.
A few of the key advantages are:
- Environmental Protection
- Mechanical Protection
- Thermal Management
- Enhanced Safety
- Increased Durability and Reliability
Our abilities include epoxy and polyurethane
SOLDERING
Soldering is used to create connections between wire leads, components and the batteries.
WIRE PROCESSING
There are 5 steps in Wire Processing: cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and harness assembly. Wire processing in battery design is less about the initial formation of the wire itself, and more about the precise and reliable application of that wire to create critical electrical connections.
